The owner of this website is Gold Rush Original Jewelry, located in Clovis, California. We hope you enjoy your experience at our website and that you will use our site often. As a user of this site, you agree to all terms and conditions as published. We reserve the right to modify our terms of use, as we see fit, without prior written notice. We strive to provide accurate, useful and current information regarding pricing and availability. Price and availability information is subject to change without notice. Every effort has been made to insure that the information contained on this site is accurate, but we reserve the right to be human, and acknowledge that some errors may occur.

Our Guarantee

We guarantee our work to be:

• Hand-crafted and designed by Gold Rush Original Jewelry in the United States of America solely by the artist Douglas L. May, unless otherwise stated
• Free from any defect when shipped
• The karat weight and variety of stone as stated on the invoice
• The karat content of precious metal as listed on the invoice

Gemstone Disclosure Statement

Many of the gemstones we use are natural, but we would like our clients to be aware of the fact that historically, and traditionally, gemstones have been enhanced. The methods of the enhancement processes vary within each variety, and change as new and better methods of technology are developed. Most of the traditional accepted enhancement processes produce permanent results and the effects of the enhancement do not change with normal wear, cutting, repair, cleaning or display conditions. We have chosen not to carry or sell gemstones that have been enhanced by methods that are temporary.

All designs on this site are strictly the sole work of the artist Douglas L. May and Gold Rush Original Jewelry and are copyrighted. All jewelry designs, photographs, artwork and website design is the property of Gold Rush Original Jewelry and my not be copied or used without consent. Any violation of use of our Intellectual Property is strictly prohibited by law and any infringement will be pursued by all means allowed by law.

Privacy Statement

Gold Rush Original Jewelry collects e-mail addresses from individuals who voluntarily indicate that they would like to receive additional information from us about our jewelry. We do not sell, share, rent or trade any information collected from our clients.

Prices and Quantity Limits

We at Gold Rush Original Jewelry do our best to maintain current pricing information, but due to market fluctuations, all prices are subject to change. Many of our designs are originals, and will only be available once; while others will be available on a limited edition basis. If we are sold out of a design that you would like to purchase, we will make every effort to reproduce that design for you.

Refunds

Any refund must be requested with 30 days of purchase. If payment was made by check, refunds will only be made, after the check has cleared deposit with our bank. Refunds will not be issued on custom orders.

Exchanges

If for any reason you would like to exchange an item you have purchased from us, you need to:

• Contact us by phone, mail or e-mail, and return the item within 30 days of purchase
• Pay for insurance and shipping charges to deliver the item safely to us
• Be aware that items to be exchanged must not be damaged, or used, otherwise they are not legible for an exchange
• Provide a copy of your original invoice

Returned Checks

Writing a bad check is against the law. Recipients of bad checks may sue the Payer in Small Claims court for three times the amount of the check or $100, whichever is more. In addition, suit may be made against the Payer for the face value of the check and all court costs. (California Civil code, Chapter 522, Section 1719) In addition, a returned check fee of $25.00, will be charged on all returned checks.

Ring Sizing

All rings purchased will be sized free of charge one time, within one month of purchase. Should it be necessary for the purchaser to return the ring to us for sizing, they will pay for insurance and shipping charges to deliver the item to us. We will pay the shipping charges for the return shipment after it is sized, unless an overnight delivery is requested by our client.
